Bolt
I saw this movie no less than 2 days ago. I must say that this movie by Byron Howard and Chris Williams just rocks. This movie is another one of the great animation films. The plot is set around a pet dog, named Bolt who acts as a superhero dog in stunt films with his mistress, a cute little girl Penny and guess what! the rock star Miley Cyrus has given her voice for the girl. Well-o-well, since Bolt acts as a superhero dog in the movies (which are really great in themselves) he is blessed with laser eyes, super strength and break neck speed, and a real special ability Bolt’s super bark, by which he can throw away great mass of objects with just one bark. Surely, these blessings are real for the dog and are special effects for every other person. In a scene, Bolt is suddenly trapped in a box while chasing her mistress in a search for her kidnapped father, without even cutting the scene (and keeping Bolt in dark that his mistress is still safe), hence the dog thinks that it is real and his mistress is truly in trouble. When the box is opened, he finds himself in his old dressing van still thinking his mistress is captured by the evil green eyed doctor (Bolt’s perception for Dr. Calico). He runs blindly in the desperation of saving her. Several interesting and funny events happen in the course of this mission, with flicks of emotions like when Bolt comes to know that he is not a super dog and everything was fake, he is even told that the love of her mistress is fake and is only in the camera and not for real. But he doesn’t give up, now his mission isn’t saving her mistress (cause now he knows the real thing) but to get to her and live with her. A very dear event happens when Bolt really saves Penny’s life from the burning building, set for a scene in the movie, with his natural Super Bark!! In the course of his journey he makes several friends, one happens to be a cat, Mittens, who bully pigeons to find and provide food for her in return of their lives, a hamster in a ball, Rhino, his die-hard fan and ready to help Bolt, no matter what happens to him. The trio search there way to the Hollywood, where Penny lives and finally get there . This movie is great in every aspect, the graphics are as rich as ever, but more than that, there is love, friendship, dedication, courage and most of all, BELIEF is shown, which makes this movie a great animation flick. This movie is surely worth seeing.
